Ground cover plants

They are an innovative greening system with an immediate impact. They are not grown in pots, but in 57x38 cm trays with 3 or 4 cm of specific soil. This system allows you to have a clod of ground cover plants that, when laid on the ground one after the other as you do with turf, gives you the opportunity to have a flowerbed with a green coverage of 100% in no time.

  • Ophiopogon japonica nana
  • Pachysandra terminalis
  • Liriope graminifolia
  • Hedera helix
  • Potentilla neumanniana
  • Delosperma
Isotoma fluviatilis
  • Vinca minor

Our ground cover plants are used mainly in areas where there is little exposure to sun light, where it is difficult for turf to grow beautifully. For example, they are used under very dense trees, areas not exposed to the sun, areas where mowing the lawn is made uncomfortable, like hikes, corridors, etc.

Prepare the ground with standard soil, if possible slightly burying the pipes for drip irrigation to a 20-30 cm distance from each other. However, you can irrigate the ground cover plants even with a normal irrigation system by sprinkling germination. At this point just put the clods one after the other side by side over the soft ground. Irrigate once a day for some days to promote rapid rooting.

Prepare the ground and the irrigation system. When everything is ready, measure the area you want to cover and order the ground cover plants online on our website or by phone. Lay the ground cover plants as soon as you receive them and irrigate once a day for some days to speed up the rooting process.
